Storm clouds at the Cathy Fromme Natural Area. This area is a pre-settlement short grass prairie area. The dry-lands and wetlands here provide habitat to a variety of plants and animals such as horned lizards, ground-nesting songbirds, butterflies, rabbits, coyotes and rattlesnakes. The paved trail across the nature area is about 5 miles round trip.
About Monte Stevens
I am one of those non-award winning photographers. However, I do hope you take the time to read a little about me and check out of my work. A layoff in 2003 set me on a new path and a time to reevaluate what was important in my life. I spent a year just traveling, which included motorcycle touring. My working career has included electrical engineering, worked a few years as a flight attendant and a coffee barista.
